Overcoming Adversity

If you recall, I've been battling a shoulder injury the last couple of months and have been creatively training around it. It is improving. However...

I'm typing this one-handed. I was stung by a bee the other day and suffered a severe allergic reaction. I was stung on the wrist and my arm swelled up from my hand to my shoulder.

Lots and lost of pain. I'm currently on steriods, anti-biotics, benedryl and ibuprofen. I'm going to be behind a bit, since my work really requires two hands (not to mention not working much because of the pain). Next week will be the Q&A issue I promised you.

So what about my training? Well, I've skipped a few days, obviously. The first day I feel good, however, while I may not be ready to really use my right arm, I will be training legs. Remember, adversity is nothing more than opportunity. You can always find something positive to take away from any bad experience.
