Hi,,

Fake It Til You Make It

The first time I heard this phrase I was just starting out as a financial advisor and had to get my own clients. And who wants to hire a brand new financial advisor?

We were told over and over to fake it until we make it. No, not lying. But acting successful until we became successful. Things like dressing the part, being confident in talking with potential clients, etc.

so what does this have to do with your fitness goals? Well, a lot of people have trouble sticking to their exercise or nutrition program. They quit before they see the results they want.

Or, they make a sporadic effort, eating right or going to the gym when the mood strikes them.

So what do you do? If you haven't caught on by now, you fake it! Yes, fake your enjoyment of the gym or eating properly. Sounds crazy, I know.

However, actual scientifice studies have proven this to be true.

Going through the act of pretending certain emotions can actually trigger those emotions inside you. Act like you're happy and you'll BE happy.

Sounds crazy, I know but don't you feel like you're in a better mood when you smile? So if you're having trouble with your workouts, why not act like you enjoy them?

Act like you can't wait to get to the gym.

Eventually, you'll really feel that way. And then your entire life will change!
